The Princeton Society of Fellowsin the Liberal Arts invites early-career scholars in the humanities and social siences to apply for the 2026-2029 Fellowship competition. Fellows are appointed as Associate Research Scholars in the Council of Humanities and join the vibrant interdisciplinary community as Princeton University.
Fellowship Opportunities Available:
2-3 Open Fellowships (any discipline represented in the Society)
1 Fellowship in Humanistic Studies
1 Fellowship in East Asian Studies
Fellowship Highlights:
Term – 3 years
Location – in person Princeton University
Teaching Load – Years 1&2 – one undergraduate course per semester; year 3 – one course during either semester
Secondary rank – Lecturer when teaching
Expected Salary Range – 101,000 – 105,000 annually
Start Date – July 2026
