The Friends of the Ukrainian Folklore Centre invite applications for a funded Archives Residency at the Bohdan Medwidsky Ukrainian Folklore Archives.
The program supports in-person research on Ukrainian and/or Ukrainian Canadian culture, particularly in folklore, community life, religion, the arts, and diaspora history.
Up to CAD $5,000 is available to cover travel and research expenses. One residency will be awarded.
Recipients must spend at least two weeks in residence and complete the project within one year.
Applications (single PDF) must include a cover letter, CV, a 2–3-page project description specifying the use of BMUFA materials, a one-page budget, and the names of two referees.
